Wonderful Long Lasting Chew-Toy 4 Aggressive Chewers!
I have 2 Very Aggressive Chewersâa 2 yr 80 lbs. Pit Mix & a 10 mos., 75 lbs. Gt. Pyrenees/Lab Mix! Both Sweet Rescues who act like Crazy Teenage Boys romping, playing & Chewing! After Numerous Destroyed Toys, Monthly 4pk Benebone deliveries that are each destroyed in a day (but boy do they Love those!), I decided to give this Shark Toy a try. I bought 1, along with a bunch of other toys/chews, all delivered together. Imagine our Shock when the box was opened (they get SO Excited when boxes are delivered & I say the Magic Word, âPackages!â! LOL!) & BOTH of them Immediately tried to grab the Shark Toy, Ignoring All the Others! The other toys were a preferred variety of hard chew toys (similar to the shark), plushies, ropes & squeaky tennis balls! Turns out, our âBoysâ fought (not in a mean way!) over that Darn Shark Toy!! I ended up ordering another 1 right away with FAST delivery! When the 2nd one arrived, they both went Insane with Joy, Again! Weâd Never seen them go So Crazy over Any Toy or Chew!The even Nicer Thing was that despite almost Constant Chewing for 2 days straight, & consistent chewing for Weeks after that, both toys lasted Months! We were Astounded! Btw, we Are the people who supervise chewing/playing times & remove items that appear even close to being moderately chewed (just for safetyâs sake!). These sharks have the hardest bodies & especially the end areas, where our dogs specifically like to chew. I was unable to squeak both sharks, despite solid efforts (& Iâm not at all wimpy!)! My husband, a carpenter, was surprised at how difficult it was to get the sharks to squeak, too! We thought the toys just had weak squeakers, or were faulty, Until our âBoysâ Joyfully jumped around Squeaking the Sharks EASILY & LOUDLY!! If you have an aggressive chewer like our 55lb American Bulldog/Pit mix, this toy is a must. Our girl destroys toys just by looking at themâseriously. But the blue shark aggressive chew toy? It lasts! Not indestructible, but this little guy survives over a month of constant, determined chewing, which is nothing short of a miracle in our house.Itâs her absolute favorite. She carries it everywhere like a prized possession, and she will chew it to death eventuallyâbut thatâs why I keep coming back for more. Iâve bought this toy four times, and every single one has been worth every penny. Bonus: they seem to last longer the more she loves them.Word of caution: I tried the red clown fish version once, and it didnât even make it an hour. Lesson learned. My dog loves it but was able to chew the fins off in the 1st 1/2 hour. He’s only 13 lbs but a very aggressive chewer!!! Heavier than expected also. Very good toy though!

I almost never write reviews but I had to take the time with this product. My dog is a 7 month puppy who has chewed through absolutely every toy weâve gotten her aside from nylabones but she LOVES squeaky toys. Iâm not gonna lie the squeak is kind of weird and was a bit much when I gave her this toy but itâs the only squeaky toy thatâs lasted more than 10 minutes with my dog. Weâve had it for a few weeks now and even with playing with it for 12 hours the first day this toy is still holding up strong! I would absolutely buy this if youâre looking for something that wonât break the bank and tired of buying cheap squeaky toys that you know wonât last. My dog used to chew the other silicone/rubber ones into bits and so far she hasnât been able to on this toy. I cannot express enough BUY THIS TOY!!

I got this toy for my dog for Christmas but she found the toy. So I gave it to her but both of the ends of the toy are hard and made her mouth bleed. Had to throw it away to prevent damage to her teeth.

My dogs were instantly interested in this toy. They were already sniffing the box when it came in the mail. I mean it does smell like BACON, as advertised, so Iâm not surprised that they could smell it. I love that it is blue so the toy is more interesting to them, considering that is one of the only colors they see vividly. Not only is it a durable chew toy, I have also used it as a âlick matâ, just spread peanut butter on the silicone part of it and they go at it. Very easy to clean, the peanut butter came right off with soap and water. Overall, great toy.

In this situation the shark doesnât win. When I tell you I have a squeaker ball tester of a dog, Iâm not lying. I go through Kong Balls -I should buy stock- and every âever lastingâ squeak ball out there. My dog Zohar devours squeaking anything-when minutes- and this shark squeaker has lasted ALL day. The dog is worn out trying to get to the squeaker. Great quality and design on the ends for them not to get to the squeak. Worth the $ FIVE STARS âï¸

Uninspiring but oddly popular
I work with rescue dogs, and we have a few in right now that are particularly destructive. This fish came highly recommended for durability, but upon opening the package, it seemed to be something that the dogs wouldn’t want. It’s heavy, no parts move, but the scales look good for teeth, it’s a good size for the big dogs, and while it’s not bouncy or full of stuffing, I decided to throw it in the toy pool. Call me gobsmacked, but those furry destructomats took to it right away! Every time I turned around, somebody else had it, chewing hard, trying to rip something off. Even the little dogs took it for a spin! Hopefully the curiousity lasts because this toy would probably survive a nuclear attack. It might actually be worth the money. Hallelujah!

Finally a product my Labrador retriever has to yet destroy. He loves the squeak and its very tough. A bit heavy but that’s not a deal breaker for me. Only one complaint it says in description it should have a beef scent. But I can’t smell anything. Maybe only my dog can, after all their smellers are much better. The price is reasonable especially given the fact that this toy may be indestructible. 5 stars
