Instructions were easy and cot is the perfect size
In my office, I have a concrete stained floor and my dogs always love to visit me except now in the winter months the floor is very cold. I placed the extra large cot in front of my wall, electric fireplace and my dogs could not be happier! My lab is 80 lbs and her son, a doodle, is larger â about 90 lbs and they both fit and snuggle together just fine. It took me about ten minutes to assemble the cot and I bought it on Black Friday sale for a good price. My pup likes to destroy his beds so that is another reason I chose this cot. Iâd buy another for the house if I see another good deal.

Velcro holds it
Not a bad bed, but our cane Corso is definitely a big strong dog and the Velcro needed to be glued for reinforcement but it seems to be working fine now. She sleeps in it every night almost.

Easy to Assemble Dog Cot
This is a very large dog cot. It was incredibly easy to assemble. I was really happy about that as I am in my 70s and not very flexible. I got on the cot along with my largest dog of 80 pounds and we were both satisfied with how it felt. Very good value for the money!

VELCRO DOESNâT STAY CLOSED
I really liked that the frame was heavy duty and offered good support. Also, I liked that the mesh canvas was very sturdy. However, the Velcro used to complete the bed was constantly coming undone.

Not Used as We Expected, But Definitely Has Given Our Dogs A Place to Lay Their Heads
When we purchased this item it was meant to be used as a dog bed in our office for one of our 2 border collies, but in attempting to get them to lay in it they absolutely hated it. We originally intended to put this outside as we occasionally worked on the porch and we didn’t want them sleeping on the hard wood of the deck. For about two months it went unused completely, and we were getting ready to chalk it up to an experience that we thought we would regret as despite getting it as a Vine item, it wasn’t a cheap item to purchase.Some changes happened in our home that required us to move our office into a more central location, and we moved our bedroom into that area. This also reduce the size of the area that we could put down the dog sleeping beds when they weren’t sleeping with us, and as a result we ended up putting some blankets on top of this overnight just so that we could rethink everything in the morning. When we woke up we found that our two smaller dogs were actually sleeping on the bed and it’s been used as their dog bed and our closet ever since.Sometimes it’s not about what you intend to do with something as much as it is what you put on top of it. Our dogs have been using this as their full-time night sleeping bed and our border collies remain in our king size to keep us warm throughout the winter.

Perfect dog bed!
About this pet bed: this bed is approximately 3â x 4â and solidly built for a large size dog. Working at a shelter, I can assure you this bed will easily hold an adult boxer, a labradoodle, and even an Akita. Itâs rated to hold 200# but thankfully we have none that size. It will certainly get a good workout here and is currently in place to serve as a bed for all 6 lab puppies awaiting adoption. Given the solid metal frame and mesh cover, itâs pretty amazing that there are 3 Velcro strips at one end of the bed for the purpose of tightening the top cover if it begins to sag a bit over time. That feature is something we havenât seen in the more inexpensive ones and for me, why it unquestionably rates 5 stars.Installation can be completed without tools although we did use a rubber mallet in order to make sure the legs were solidly in place. Installation took a bit longer than anticipated because the instructions werenât exactly clear but we figured out how to assemble without them. All parts were there including an extra screw. The legs are sturdy and fixed once assembled and only the top is adjustable at one end as described in the paragraph above. We noted it was strong and the mesh top appears extremely durable. The description includes chew-resistant but we havenât had an opportunity to test that part yet.Keeping the dogs off the concrete floor in cooler weather is a priority. This well-constructed, sturdy adjustable bed more than fills the bill in our animal shelter.
